The first day of a short trip to Portugal for a couple of railtours to celebrate 40 years of the class 14 locomotives. This day was given over to a group trip over the metre gauge Vouga line which runs inland between Espinho and Aveiro, both of which are on the main Lisbon to Porto line.
We had a break at Sernada do Vouga, the main station on the line, which included a trip by coach to the museum at nearby Macinhata and a visit to the line's depot.
