The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland was formed in 1964 with the intention of preserving locomotives and rolling stock built for use in Ireland. They are based at Whitehead in Northern Ireland and operate steam (and some diesel) hauled excursions throughout Ireland.

Their website gives details of their locomotives and rolling stock and also dates of forthcoming mainline tours.
