A day and a bit spent at the Vale of Rheidol Railway's Steam Festival Weekend, billed as "The Forgotten Engines" as it featured two locomotives ("Margaret" and Diana") that were not only making their first appearances in service since 1950 but also their first ever runs in passenger service. The line-up was completed by "Winifred", which had spent nearly 50 years in the USA, visiting "Sybil Mary" which completed the line-up of Hunslet "Port Class", "Small Quarry" and "Large Quarry" 0-4-0STs and the two currently serviceable Vale of Rheidol 2-6-2Ts, numbers 8 and 9.
